Ok, so I set up this website to try to talk about and “value” the web 2.0 companies being auctioned off on Ebay…kind of as an unbiased third party to help possible would-be buyers in making their decisions (although you should definitely be doing your own, very in-depth research if you are actually considering buying one of these). Needless to say it is very difficult to get a good valuation of these companies since I’m not an investor and I don’t get all the good info that an investor gets…not to mention they’re not public so finding out revenues or anything like that is very difficult. Plus putting a value on a company that doesn’t really make money is tough…so basically I’ll be making stuff up.
